Beach Bumming in Anguilla

Well, I've been reliving my windjammer trip to the eastern Caribbean lately through these trip reports, so her is a quick one our Anguilla stop.
Anguilla, like many of the eastern Caribbean islands is a dry island. However, unlike some of the other islands I've visited in this area, Anguilla didn't seem to be as populated. There were several houses scattered through the island, but we didn't visit any towns per say. We pulled up on the western shore on a small beach, and hopped on a bus to drive across the island. 20 minutes later we were on a white sand beach with beach bars and a few small shops. It was a very laid back area. We snorkeled, had a few drinks, rented some beach chairs and just chilled.
I really liked this island since it almost seemed deserted in a way. The businesses that were there on the beach were small, and very local. Nothing flashy or too commercial. The snorkeling was decent, and the people were very friendly.
