Couples Swept Away

June 2008
Negril
posted by Emile

Jennie and I decided to go with Couples Swept Away in Negril because it was all inclusive and we didn't want to have to worry about a thing on our honeymoon. That is exactly what happened. The place is absolutely awesome. You fly into Montego Bay airport in Jamaica and then it is an hour bus ride to the resort. The airport is pretty busy and hectic. The bus ride there was honestly pretty depressing, Jamaica is a very poor country other than the tourist type resorts.

Once we made it to the resort it was a different type of Jamaica. Our room was awesome, fully stocked bar, flat panel tv with cable, nice king bed, porch with couch and table, and you could see the ocean from the room.

There is a ton of stuff to do and it is free; wind surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, beach volleyball, catamaran cruises, hobie cats, and much more. Besides that it is all you can drink fruit drinks and soda all day long. If you are on the beach, just put a flag in the sand and someone comes right up to you to take your order.

I would suggest Couples to anyone who wants to spend some time with their husband or wife. It isn't cheap, but it is very much worth it. Especially if you book the trip and pay for it and don't go for 3 months. By the time it rolls around you forgot that you paid for it and then you are just on a ridiculous trip where you never pull your money out again.

I just want to know if that giant in the hammock ended up eating that poor girl?
