Just off West Boulevard, located at the southern entrance of city bus stand, the garden has a good collection of exotic flowering plants from India and abroad. The garden was started by C.S. Perrotet on an experimental basis to analyze the crops that could be cultivated in the region. Later trees were planted here . There is also an aquarium here which has some rare species of ornamental fish. Flower Show is one of the most important event that happens here as a tradition at the third or fourth week of Feb yearly.
