Green River DF to MF 9-22-07

Took my Sunday school class out an a float trip from Dennison Ferry to mammoth Cave Ferry Saturday. Weather was a little warm, but heck, we were on the water. Thanks Wade for the idea you gave me about taking waterguns to a float. We spent the first hour or so attacking each other with supersoaker watre guns!!! Great fun. Most of the people had never been in a conoe or kayak before, but all faired fairly well. It is a good thing we had the comraderie and waterguns to keep it fun, because the water was the lowest I've ever sceen it and absolutely no current.
I did create the fever in 13 newbies and will probably have double that many on the next outing!
Keep your paddles wet and you lines tight,
