About Me

I love spending time outdoors with my fiance. Some of our favorite things to do together are exploring new places, biking, camping, fishing and canoeing. We've just moved from western Pennsylvania to mid-Missouri, so we've got all kinds of new places to explore!

If anyone has any recommendations of places to see or things to do in Missouri or the Midwest, please...let me know!

Sorry to hear about the bad shellfish experience. :(

Hopefully next time you grub on some shrimp or lobster it will be okay.

yeah i was just going to suggest katy trail...cahokia mounds was pretty cool wasnt it? and youre right lake of the ozarks is way too commercial. It could be because all the lakes around here are manmade so I guess they are a commodity to a lot of people. If you get adventure magazine there is a 4 day trip they have laid out in the ares of southern mo, northern ar that you might be interested in.

oh it's no problem. I know where mexico, mo is but I dont know much to do around there. if youre into easy day stuff elephant rocks and millstream gardens are really cool places to go. and they are really close together. I dont know of much really good hiking around though. You might find stuff closer to st. louis... my sister is a more avid hiker than I am. i mostly climb so I'll ask her and get back with you!
