About Me I love the outdoors. I work as a Surf, Kayak, and Sailing Instructor. I recently graduated Humboldt State University with a degree in Elementary Education with a emphasis of outdoor education. I love to travel too. I am beginning a year long trip around the USA with hopes to go to Europe as well. Afterwards I will return to school for a year to obtain my teaching credential! (2nd grade here I come!!!) I love to surf, kayak, sail, mountain bike, hike, open water swim, snowboard, and more...

I definitely recommend the couchsurfing site!! I haven't had a chance to use it yet but, the groups give you a lot of info and I have several friends who have had very positive experiences "surfing" through the site.

Hey Matt! Thanks for the comment, you're right...no one ever leaves them, what's up with that?!I think it's really cool that you lead SURFING and sailing trips for YOUR school! I wish we had something like that here in alabama! (the closest beach to me is 6 hours away!!!) Utah was amazing! we did canyonlands, capital reef, bryce, arches and zion. Have you been out there at all? hope to hear from you :)
