The "Ark" is currently flowing at ~900 cfs due to some early melt, and BOR releases from Twin Lakes to make room for an epic 2008 run-off. The upper Arkansas River Basin is at 187% snowpack with more snow on the way for the higher elevations. For all of you hard boaters out there now is the time! Lost Paddle Rafting will open for daily trips on April 15th, for those of you who prefer inflatables with professional guides at the helm. It is going to be one hell of a season! Get out here and get wet! |
