Where's your backyard?

Huh? Where do you all climb at on or around? Do you normally climb with the same group or do you like to switch it up with random people you meet at the crag?

My backyard is British Columbia's lower mainland, but I just moved here so I don't really have a local place to go, or people to go with. I'm hoping to create both a local and extended group so that this summer I can rock climb here and hopefully down into the States and over in Alberta. Squamish is supposed to have some amazing climbing here, but I have yet to find someone to show me the best places to go.
