Seasons change!!

posted by Yeti on October 13, 2008

Here on Colorado's front range, we are facing cold weather and the possibility of some snow!! Does winter impact your outdoor adventures or do you simply layer up and keep on keepin on?

Wade, if you ever get into Colorado I could show you some great spots where the views are out of this world and the shelters are made with your own two hands deep in the snow!!

Yeah I think the only downer for me is wet and cold. Fortunately here in Colorado we have nice skin cracking dry winters. I am more comfortable at 0F and dry than 30F and humid!!! That and after a not so fun frost bitten toes adventure my feet tend to get chilly easily.

I keep goin. In Ky winter is mild. We try to do a snow camping trip every year. It doesn't stop us, just encourages us!
