Mini Great Float Sweetness

posted by Wade on September 2, 2008

The mini Great Float this past weekend was a success. We camped, we fished, we played geetar...

Anyway. We will be doing a few day trips this fall so keep your eyeballs peeled for dates and meet-up times.

We'll be hitting Drakes Creek, Barren River, and as soon as that Gasper starts to flow... we'll be getting in that slosh.

CHEERS!

OH, check out this pic Mac10 took of us "cheating".

Well, no taxation without representation. That's what I always say.

i have to agree with wade. but then again maybe less talk and even less action is the way to go. talk is cheap. but action can wear you out. mac10 makes an excellent point. but points can hurt people, and it not polite to point. now i'm confused. maybe if obama gets elected, he will straighten all of this out. i just hope he doesn't have to raise taxes to do it.

I say... less action, more talk. Because talk is cheap. And everything is cheaper by the dozen. And a bakers dozen is 13. But 13 is unlucky, so maybe not.

Okay lets paddle soon. I'm actually paddling with my nephews boy scout troop this weekend. Should be fun. I'll learn them young'ns.

yeah man... this trip was a blast! i don't think that being pulled by a john boat is cheating. under the circumstances, it was our best option.
and those that didn't go missed wade going into "life saving" mode. he sho' nuff pulled a guy out of the river that probably would have drown. good job wade!
