Outdoorzy Business Consortium Bulletins

event for next season

posted by liftticketscheap on April 17, 2008

This upcoming season, I am partnering working with West Point Military Academy where I teach snowboarding. Liftticketscheap.com is working with them to help support their programs and the families of our troops home and abroad. Polar Fest is an all day festival at West Point's Victor Constant Ski Slope and Lodge. It is a blend of indoor and outdoor winter activities including a Lift Dart Challenge, Cross Country Skiing, Snow Tube Bowling, Downhill Ski and Snowboard Races, Big Air Competition, Pig Roast, a live band and live ice carving, just to name a few. The 2009 Polar Fest event will have approximately 1000 participants and the Army’s Department of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation promotes the event to the Army, support personnel and their families that will reach an audience of around 20,000. If you would like to help me support our troops through this event, we are looking to improve the quality of prizes available at the event. For a donation of $50.00 (wholesale value) of materials your logo will be incorporated into the promotional materials as well as a “thank you” for the event. This donation also allows you or a representative of your company to be on site to distribute materials. If you are unable to provide a representative, I can assist you in this capacity.

Its a solid event. let me know if you want in. feel free to pass this on to your sponsors and have them reach out to me to get in on this. Its an easy event with solid publicity.

I think Outdoorzy will be interested in sponsoring this as well. Sounds like a great event and for such a low donation, who wouldn't get involved.

Nate, If you could just post something on here closer to the event, I'd be grateful!
