This stove has a flux ring around the bottom of the included 1.5 liter pan, and Jetboil claims this helps the contents to heat really fast. Well, they are right. I tried my new stove the first time on the Great Float 2007, it boiled 2 cups of water extremely fast. The unit is very easy to assemble and the entire stove stores in the pan when not in use. This makes it easy to transport. It is small and compact, so it doesn't take up much room when assembled. The included ignitor is sweet - no matches or lighters required! It always lit with one push of the button. The only issue I saw was that the pan was a little wobbly on the stove, but not so much where it will fall off and scald you to death!

If you are looking for a great stove with super fast heating, this is it!

its probably one of my favorite "toys" while backpacking...i always reccomend them to customers at my work who want the simplest, fastest, and hassle-free backcountry stove. just like any other iso-pro blend canister fuel...it may be harder to start in cold temps...keep the canisters insulated in your pack and don't reley on a canister that is less than half full--a fuller canister will have better pressure!
