I'd encourage anyone who enjoys the outdoors to try out these military rations. They're cheap, they actually taste good, they don't require boiling water, they're packed full of calories, & they come with everything you need for a 3 course meal on the trail: drink mix, entree, side dish, desert, gum, toilet paper, salt, pepper, coffee, & a spoon to eat it all with. Plus, the major benefit: you don't have to boil or purify water to cook these meals in! They come with a "heater pack" that has a fill line; you pour in water to the fill line, slide the foil sealed food pouch into the "heater pack" and 15 minutes later, you've got hot chow. Or, you can set them by the fire, or just eat them cold. They're awesome! |
