This tent has served me well over the last few years. I am curently looking for one with a little more head clearance. If you are over 5'9, be ready to feel cramped with your gear inside. I can't complain on much else though. Last year on the AT I camped near a crowded shelter and It stormed so bad the people inside said they were waiting for me to come running in. It held up and didn't leak. I have waterproofed it twice around the seams for peace of mind but I am not sure I needed to. It isn't free standing, but is a cinch to set up.

I have the same tent and it works great. I'll agree with the cramped style (me being 6'4") but it gets the job done. I am sure i'll use it again on GF7.

I have a Slumberjack with a similar design. Mine is a bit cramped for my 6'1" frame, but DANG, you can't beat how compact these solo bivy-style tents are.
