These boots nearly received a poor rating. After using these boots intermittently during colder months for work and backpacking for the last 4 years, one of them completely fell apart at the seams. These boots are relatively inexpensive, and really were only purchased because I needed a waterproof boot for the colder months. I prefer to hike lightweights, so I really didn't want to spend that much. Well, after looking at Columbia's website I noticed that they only have a 1 year warranty on footwear. I emailed them and they told me if I would could ship them back they would replace them at no charge. So, now they get a good rating. Just expect to get what you pay for and you will be satisfied with an inexpensive insulated cold weather boot. Comments
