These socks are....well, darn tough. I've used these socks in many long runs and they hold up very well and provide great foot protection. For such a tough sock, they are also very comfortable. They feel nice just to wear around anywhere. I'm also a big fan of Smart Wool socks and I would say Darn Tough is sort of Smart Wool on steroids. I did knock off one point because the cost is a little more than I like for a pair of socks. Also, if you tend to have an issue with hot feet these may not be the sock for you due to the thickness.
