If you have a son or daughter who wants to fish then this is probably a good option. It's simple enough so they can fish on their own, plus comes with a little tackle box where they can put in some of their own tackle. It does have a closed face reel which is good from a simple point of view, but doesn't teach really teach them how to cast. |
