These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. That's somewhat impressive as they are designed to take the abuse and punishment of trail running. With a wide toe box but a snugh fit on the mid foot, this shoe will allow you to pound the trail and not cram your toes in the front of the shoe on downhills. They are also not as bulky as all the other trail shoes I've worn. This is a plus when climbing a kentucky knob ten miles into a run. And the light weight does not mean they can't take the rigors, I ran in these shoes for thirty miles in the rocky cumberland mountains and they didn't miss a beat. Excellent shoe all the way around.
