I’ve had these poles for about 6 years and they are still holding up. They are 3 sections and they are anti-shock. Mine are gray and blue. They’ve helped me cross streams on the Timberline Trail around Mt Hood and they’ve helped me get up the glacier on the normal route of Mt Adams. The bottom section did bend one time when I was crossing a creek. I put the point down between two rocks and when I moved the pole forward it bent. Now, I should have been smarter than to do that, but it seemed to bend a bit easier than I would have liked. I did bend them back though by putting some back into it with some pliers. Overall they are good poles for the price, I think I got them on sale because they were the previous years model.
