Not something you would want as your everyday, but awesome on race day / firm conditions. I had some problems in muddy / technical climbing situations, where I could have used more grip. Downhill these things were great, cornered way better than I expected. If you are looking for every advantage on race day,,, these may be the weapon.

As a follow up, I wanted to add these tires lasted much better than I expected. I put in hundreds of miles before it was time to retire the rear. For a racing tire I was very impressed with how long they last.

I have heard good things about Schwalbe tires. They are a bit too pricey though.
