Just purchased this product as a precautionary measure. Hopefully I will never have to use this product but I did a good bit of research between rival products and this seems to have some of the best ratings.

As a frequent hiker in bear inhabited areas, I've always wondered about the effectiveness of these types of products. If you ever do have to use it, please let us know how it worked.
