This boot is a lightweight hiker and I have to admit, I used it for more than that. It took no time to break in and was comfortable from the outset. The sole and ankle support are up their with Asolo but durability is where this boot lacks. The seams quickly broke down around the ankle and toes resulting in some discomfort. Another downfall is the quikdry system. The polarfleece boot liner will turn inside out for quick drying, which is a nice thought but getting it back into the boot properly is a hassle and the liner moves around a great deal. This resulted in it breaking down on gave me blisters. Not a good thing. I would buy another pair of Timberland boots without the quickdry system. The price and comfort of these boots make them a good choice. |
