This is the greatest sleeping bag I have ever slept in. It is incredibly comfortable and cool looking. The bag has a clever way of keeping people from rolling off of their sleeping pads: It has two straps on the back of it that tighten and hold your pad to you. You can roll around all night and still wake up on your soft pad. It also has a small pocket at the top by the head that zips shut. I assume it is to hold chap stick or something you might need in the night. It could hold a cell phone or an ipod also. It is about as big as your hand. The inside is polyester and the outside is nylon. Height wise, as long as you are 6 feet and 6 inches or less then you will be comfortable in the bag. I am like 5 foot 7, so I can go exploring even when I am inside my sleeping bag. haha. I purchased it in an awsome backpacking store in Flagstaff Arizona and the guy said "Yeah, this is the same bag I use. It is by far our best selling bag." It is a 20 degrees F or -7 celcius but Sierra Designs has quite the variety of difforent bags for difforent needs if this particular one doesnt suit you. If you buy this bag you will also need a compression sack if you dont already have one. That will tack on another 20 or 30 dollars but believe me, it is worth it. I can get my bag compressed to about the size of a football in my "Granite Gear" red compression sack, (available at granitegear.com). Remember not to store your sleeping bag all compressed in a compression sack when it is at home and you are not using it. This shortens the life expectancy of the bag and it forms creases which over time make the gear a 30 degree instead of a 20, and then before you know it it will not keep you comfortable unless it is 40 degrees outside. That is just a tip. It apply's to all bags though, not just the Wild Bill. It is a great buy everybody! Comments
