My Camping Gear

1. BACKPACK (offcourse), I have a HighSierra Trek 45+.
2. Sleeping Bag.
3. Light Hammock. It is better than carring a tent and pad (saves a lot of space) except when going places where there are no trees.
4. Compass. you never know when you are going to need it!
5. Light Jacket
6. Extra pair of socks
7. Small first aid kit (which for me is alcohol,neutral sopa and two elastic bandages).
8. Flint and matches.
9. water bottle and a water treatment product.
10. flashlight and extra batteries
11. pocket knife.
12. Cookware. I use a very cool small frying pan replica that I got from a wedding registration gift sampler basket at Target.
13. hiking shoes
14. Food!!!

3. 8GB Zune, I used to have an ipod but the zune is tougher, and cheaper.
4. My friends and I created a tradition of bringing "Cheddar Cheese Ruffles" and "Chorizo and Potato tacos" to our trips. We all separated but still continue our traditon. Scouts Forever!

7. Telescope. I only bring it along when I know I'm going to be close to my car.
