What I usually have on my backpacking excursions

Necessities

Backpack: Gregory Triconi
Tent: Sierra Designs Alpha Convertible (for groups of 2 or more. Otherwise, just a tarp and some parachute cord).
Boots: Montrail Torre GTX
Sleeping Bag: REI Sub Kilo (Down- 20F) or North Face Goliath (Synthetic- 0F)
Stove: Jetboil
Rain Suit: Marmot Precip Jacket and Pants
Summit Pack: REI Flash (also doubles as a stuff sack).
Headlamp: Black Diamond Icon
