Necessities

Daypack
rain gear (full suit)
fleece
lunch
WATER
compass
map
survival gear and first aid kit
rope
pencil and paper
pocket knife

Creature Comforts

snacks
book/magazine (might be in the mood...)
bandana
plastic bag or two...
