A trip to the Bathroom!

1. Make sure the thermostat is the right temperature -- nothing like having your pants around your ankles, and getting cold!
2. One book you are already reading, or two new books / magazines (two in case one sucks!)
3. Maybe some background music in the other room.. sometimes silence is better though.
4. Time.

1. The house phone, if you plan on being there for a while...
2. Air-freshener or matches
3. "Do Not Disturb" sign for the door
4. A powerful ventilation system
5. A scenic view -- and maybe open window
