Cougar repelant is basically the urine and blood from a puma mixed together and sprayed all over your body. Puma repelant is bat feces and soy curdle mixed with its own urine.

As you can see Urine is key to any repelant. (of course I am totally kidding, so please dont go out and harvest urine and bat poop and smear it all over yourself.)
