Cahokia mounds was really cool! We had a deer follow us through the woods while we were there. And my fiance really wants to go to Elephant Rocks now...thanks!

Both of those places look pretty sweet, we will definitely check them out! So far we've just done the biggies...Katy Trail, Mark Twain, Lake of the Ozarks (too commercialized!). We drove to Illinois over Christmas and checked out the Cahokia Mounds too. Anyway...thanks for the tips! Hadn't even heard of those places.
