About Me
I have a love for the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, mountain and road cycling, and general travel on the country roads with the windows rolled down. I love co-ops, cafes and local bookstores. I do a lot of photography, and anyone can preview some of my work (and writeups) at American Byways, although it is almost exclusively limited to Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
My favorite playgrounds tend to be a lot of the local nature preserves and parks. You would be surprised at the amount of people who have no idea how much wealth there is just at their back door. I also love to head up into the Allegheny Mountains and highlands of West Virginia and Cumberland Mountains in southeast Kentucky.
