Hey everyone,
I was just recently drafted into the exciting sport of mountain biking by my boyfriend. I have been an avid hiker and backpacker for years and just never thought of biking as something I'd enjoy. Well think again. I am totally in love with it. I started out on his ancient Trek singletrack and just this week (after riding every kind of bike they sell in the asheville area) I finally bought myself a Giant Yukon. Took it for my first ride in Pisgah Friday. LOVIN IT.
So yeah, I guess I'll be expanding my outdoorzy experience to this here mountain biking forum. Nice to meet y'all,
