hey all! i just wanted to throw this into a dicussion format for thought sharing:

Mad props to these companies: Native Eyewear, Patagonia, Chaco & Camelbak.

Here's why:
NATIVE: In less than a year i've gone through two pair of the blue reflex lenses on my Native Hardtops which sucks, but wait. I called Native up today and told them about it and the lady was just like "Ok, what's your address I'm sending you new lenses? The old lenses were defective." That's it, no questions asked, no bush-beating, just straight up good service. Oh, and be looking for a review on these glasses soon.
CAMELBAK: Similar scenario; I have two bladders. One of which I've broken twice now. I called Camelbak yesterday and left a message. They called me back today and my new bladder is in the mail, I didn't even have to send the old one to them! Saves me shipping and time, saves fuel and emissions, and keeps me hydrated. Gotta love that, right?
CHACO: We all know how awesome Chaco is. As climbers we spend our horizontal life kicking around in this footwear. And now they're making shoes for those of us living a slot canyon and river lifestyle as well. No more busted toes/toenails! Woohoo!
PATAGONIA: Their stuff is just awesome. I live in patagucci clothes.

wow those are good to know!
and this is along the same lines...but less related to outdoorzy stuff...
but i have a bunch of starbucks travel coffee mugs and while they last for a long while, the lids tend to wear out sooner. and if you call them, same thing, they'll send along some new ones free of charge!
this hardly relates...but i just thought i'd let ya'll know!

well looks like you made it to AZ, congrats on that man.

I had a problem with a marmot jacket that I had, sent it in and they gave me a refund for the full MSRP.
Also sent a pair of shoes back to 5.10 b/c they fell apart and they hooked me up with a new pair.

Montrail

I am on my third pair of Montrail shoes. I have some mid-high gore tex hikers that I had for about a year. The plastic grommets at the top of the lacing system blew out. I emailed the company, they said to send the shoes to them. I did, and they sent me a new pair. Nice job Montrail...

Kat, Coffee definately relates to outdoorzy life. my press or cowboy set-up goes everywhere I go! I'm not really a starbucks fan but that gives me good reason to respect any company willing to make things well. Good customer loyalty actions like that go so far.

I'll second that, joshua. One morning after camping, I thought...I mean...a friend...yeah... A friend thought it would be a good idea to eat a handful of instant coffee crystals. It didn't taste very good. Or so I heard...
