i am looking for info on the canoe trip from the base of Hoover Dam. anybody know anything about it? i hope to do this trip when I go to Vegas sometime. it looks very cool... hot springs, waterfalls and caves all on the downriver side of Hoover Dam. it's not whitewater, just scenic and WAY different from what i usually canoe. there are several outfitters online that will do daytrips, but i want to do an overnight trip. any info will be helpful.

Is this an official 'Cirrhosis of the River' sanctioned trip? Or is this a soul searching solo trip down a big river, from which we will never hear from you again?
By the way, i am highly disappointed you haven't started a Cirrhosis of the River Canoe Club GROUP on here yet. I know a few people who are itching for it to be born.

it's really a long shot, but if i find myself in Vegas, and the weather is right, and i haven't lost all my money, i may do this trip. and yes, it will definitely be a COTRCC sanctioned trip (tax write-off).
AND NOW....there is a COTRCC group on Outdoorzy.com. and be sure to check out our myspace site as well.
