In your opinion, who accomplished the most, and who had the biggest adventure? Which one would you have rather been a part of?

Good question, both expeditions were amazing. I would have rather accompanied Lewis & Clark just due to the expanse of country they covered. Talk about the unknown, Jefferson thought they may encounter dinosaurs in the west!
"This immense river waters one of the fairest portions of the globe. Nor do I believe that there is in the universe a similar extent of country. As we passed on, it seemed as if those scenes of visionary enchantment would never have an end."

yeah, I think the distance covered by Lewis and Clark is amazing. However, can you imagine floating down the Green and Colorado Rivers with Powell and his crew back then, crazy.

It would have been sweet to be with both. After learning about the Green and all over the summer I would have to say that for sure.

Ok...not to be a s**t disturber, but I was thinking Sacagawea(sp?)(who accompanied Lewis and Clark) because she was a single mom and of aboriginal descent...kinda like me! lol.....I realize it wasn't like the original question! I hope the member who started this forum will forgive me for possibly changing the direction!
