I'm flying out to Los Angeles the 9th of January to hang out for awhile. I want to check out some of the national parks. Definately Yosemite, maybe stop by Sequoia just to see those huge trees, time permitting Joshua Tree. No real plan, just winging it. Anybody out there going to be in the area and wanna teach me something new? Show me some stuff in the area? Whatevers good, just let me know.

I'm not out there, but have spent some time in the area. As I'm sure you're aware, everything is a long drive out there. But Sequoia is awesome, and just going up the coast to Big Sur is pretty cool too. Have fun, great trip idea! Hope you have plenty of time to spend down there.

I'm used to driving for hours just to get anywhere in Alaska, so California will be no problem...
