Hi!

I’m a producer at a production company based in NYC is looking for new talent to host a pilot for an adventure show on a major cable network.

We’re looking for an avid traveler, extreme recreationalist, ex-military or anyone with genuine curiosity up for an adventure!

The show might be best described as an adventure tour all over the world-- going to dangerous places by extreme means or under extreme conditions. Like taking the bus on the death road in La Paz, riding the train in Bangladesh during Biswa Ijtema, a helicopter pub crawl in Australia or taking a freighter around Cape Horn or better yet the straights of Magellan.

it would require lots of travel and some roughing it b/c of production skeds. the host doesn't have to save lives or climb mountains but we want them to have the credentials, the background, the experience and the look that they could do these things is they had to. audiences want credibility in people they receive information from so just an actor isn't going to do for this job.

Some tv experience is good but not necessary as long as you’re comfortable on camera, energetic and up for anything!

Only for the seriously interested!
Email us:
1. your resume or listing/explanation of your background and experience,
2. headshot (and photo without sunglasses and from the torso up, no bigger then 1mb),
3. And links to any videos that might feature you (links only, do not send actual video file)

ideal if you are based in NY but not a must
