has anyone done any of the cycle touring? tried it ultralight? just curious...looking for tips or suggestions...

A friend of mine toured from Vancouver Canada down the west coast of the US, then across the south and up to Kentucky. I'll see if I can get him to hop on the forum and give you some tips.

One thing he told me was to EAT EAT EAT. Don't worry about anything, just eat all you want while you're riding. He even kept a bag of oats on his handlebars and reached down and ate them dry all day...

I would almost think those dry oats would sit low in your stomach and kind of grow like rice when they got down there. Maybe that is the point.
