Apparently there has been talk about the Sal Hollow trail at Mammoth Cave. Right now only hikers and bikers are allowed on the trail. This is the only trail in Mammoth Cave that allows mt. biking and the officials are talking about allowing horses on it and maybe even ban mt. bikes. Equestrians have all kinds of trails in Mammoth. They don't need another one. Mt. bikers have one.
So contact the park officials at Mammoth and let them know you want it to stay horse free. Many people hike and bike this trail knowing they are not going to get ran over by a horse. There is a thread on www.kymba.org on this issue and it has some info on who to contact. If you like this trail, as I do, please help out.
Thanks.

Where did you see this? I looked on kymba.org and couldn't find anything about it.
