Wal-Mart gets a lot of attention for being a major importer and they have even tried to market themselves as selling "made in the USA" products. But the overwhelming majority of things they sell are foreign made too. Farmers markets, and local stores are always better in my book. It's hard to find outdoor gear made in the US though. Buy locally where you can!
