If the free tickets are about to expire, call Southwest. You can pay $50.00 per a ticket to extend the life of the free ticket for another year. It is worth it if you use them within the year, but I wouldn't do it too many times.

Thanks everyone, all great ideas. And thanks to Buster who shed light on the $50.00 extension, now we have a little more breathing room.

not really...just when you get ahead something else pops up. The root canal cost me a couple of hundred dollars and now they tell me I need a crown, which is another $400.00! When I think of what I could have done with that money it makes me sick, but I am still thinking about where I should go whenever the time arises.

Dang! Insurance won't cover most of that?

I don't have 100% dental, why not you ask, well because I have never needed it up until now. They say crowns are somewhere around a grand. Insurance is just a gamble and I rolled the dice.

Not only do I have a free Southwest ticket, I now have a $200 voucher from American Airlines. So, how about two trips?
