It is an awesome mountain for sure. The diamond is so dramatic to look at too.

Wade, I'm actually doing several this weekend around Breck (Lincoln, Democrat, and Bross). During the summer you don't need too much for the easy routes. I carry my gear in a camel back, bringing water, snacks, rainjacket, cellphone or signaling devide, sunglasses, and sun screen. Throw in more "survival" gear to fit your comfort level but we usually do the day routes pretty light and fast. There are also some other great technical and longer routes around the state that will require various other items depending on the trip. Good luck and have fun!

Awesome suggestion! I did the "De-ca-li-bron" a few years back. (Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross). We did it in a day and it was sweet, although my climbing partners got pretty bad headaches from the amount of time you have to spend above 13.

After you get back post up a Trip Report so we can see some pics of the conditions this time of year uitdoorqi. Thanks!

Never heard it called that, but I love it! I can definately say we thought we were getting a quadruple bypass by the end of the day. After it was over we headed back to Leadville and crashed after one or two brewskies.
