I'm stuck in the Midwest. My entire quiver is put away for the season. Snow is at least 6 months off.
I am sad, someone cheer me up

There is always Chile. . . It's winter in the Southern Hemisphere. I hear Portillo is the bomb. It's on my life list of things to do before I die.

Or how about some Glacier closer to home? Hood in Oregon and Whistler both have skiing will into June and later on their glaciers. It's not Pow - but its frozen and slippery. If it wern't so damn expensive. . . but it's probably cheaper than Chile. . .

I agree with Wade. The best outdoor activities can be derived from drinking beer! Try some Beer in Hand croquette!

Hey kids,
All great suggestions. FYI, I do drink beer...actually, a lot. I just got word that New Belgium (my favorite beers ever) will be distributing close to home, so this is exciting news. Unfortunately, that's the beer I drink when I ski, so it makes me sad and miss snow again.
I used to do a bunch of mountain biking, but haven't for a long time. My Super V sits in my garage (with road tires on it, can you believe that!). I just ordered a new Redline road bike, so I'm hoping to pick that.
Plus, I backpack and golf a lot. It makes the time go by faster, but it still makes me miss the snow. There's something really quite mesmerizing, relaxing, and challenging about it. I can't shake it, brain aneurysm!
